Array Science was founded in 2008 and is based in Sausalito, California. We developed our own patented methods and instruments for making tissue and cell culture microarrays, and we continue to innovate and refine our techniques. As part of our research and development, we collaborate with a variety of leaders in industry and academia.
Array Science has developed into a highly specialized operation with an impressive track record of providing microarray blocks and slides to the pathology community for proficiency testing (PT) and routine immunohistochemistry controls. Until recently, these products were only sold through distributors, but we are now introducing our own unique products to the pathology market.
We strive to use our expertise and patented techniques to provide affordable control slides. Our mission is to promote quality in laboratory testing.

Our method employs a proprietary step, in which heat and pressure are applied to donor tissue with precise control. The donor tissue is consolidated into cores of unprecedented depth for high slide yield and optimal section quality. In addition to achieving TMA blocks with yields of 1000-2000 slides, the problem of donor tissue loss due to non-uniform core depth is virtually eliminated.
Since 2008, Array Science has been dedicated to promoting quality in the laboratory setting. We serve a growing list of clients and work closely with leaders in industry and academia. Array Science will continue to expand our product range to provide cost-effective and trusted products to support further quality improvement in laboratory testing.
